JayBird Wireless Headphones Review

I have been lucky enough to collaborate with Jaybird over the past 2 years. Jaybird headphones are designed with runners, athletes, and adventurers in mind creating durable and rugged wireless headphones with quality sound that can be adapted to your own preferences through the Jaybird App.

I first tested their Tarah Pro headphones at a sponsored event, partnered with Headspace and Zwift Run, in Brooklyn, NY during the 2018 NYC Marathon Weekend.

Having been tested that weekend for their battery endurance, they achieved 14+ continuous playing hours. Tarah Pro headphones are waterproof and sweatproof, being the ideal headphones for endurance athletes. I found them to have a comfortable silicone fit that can be switched to wear over or under the ear according to preference. The fabric cord with a magnetic snap lock on the earpieces is ingenious for secure wear during breaks or pauses. The sound quality is clear while also being customizable through the Jaybird App.

Pros: I’ve been a huge fan of its everlasting battery and quick charge refill.

Cons: With a snug fit, you lose some ability to hear external noises.

The second opportunity I’ve had working with Jaybird is through Instagram. I tested their true wireless and earth proof Vista headphones.

As some of the lightest earbuds, they are also tested by professional athletes and found to be the most rugged against dirt, dust, and sweat. The charging case is durable while the battery life provides 6 hours of continuous use. The best function is the 5-minute quick charge to give 1-hour use. They provide 3 size adjustable silicone secure fits that provide individualized comfort with high impact movement. Outside of their clear and customizable sound, I found the buds to have a sleek design and are dependable despite which physical activities I put them through.

Pros: Small, compact, and secure fit that helps against grit and sweat. One bud can be used at a time for safer activities.

Cons: I’m just afraid to lose one!
