I’ve run this little ole’ blog of mine going on 2 years now. I’ve gone through some emotional times, mostly positive, with it. I’ve connected with people from all over the world with it. I’ve created business ventures with it. And at times I’ve had absolutely nothing to say and wanted to break up with it. It’s a been, what I consider, a healthy relationship and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
But like any good romance, sometimes you need some rekindling of the old flames. I’m making some updates and I hope you’ll like what you see.
The Fit Wanderluster shirt store is going into hibernation. While I love my personal brand and have found the platform from Shopify so easy to use, it was just time for me, financially, to take a break. So going forward, as you’ve already realized, The Fit Wanderluster website will just directly lead you to my blog.
My blog has received a makeover, I’m hoping for the better and that you agree 😊. I’ve added a bit more flair with randomly changing photography. Besides presentation, I’ve added access to easily follow my other social media platforms and a search and archive section to find old posts.
I’m always open to feedback. Let me know what you love or hate with the updated design.
Updates on me:
I am super pumped the Patriots are heading to their 7th Super Bowl under Tom Brady and Bill Belichick. Let’s go for the thumb (5th ring), boys!
My flight and hotel for Rome has been booked! Training is going well for the Rome Marathon (April 2). This weekend’s long run is a half marathon then 17 miles next week. 9 weeks to go!
I’ve been 3 weeks without alcohol. It’s been a game-changer to reducing belly fat after holiday feasts and has improved my digestion and sleeping quality. The decision to detox was purely for health benefits and the outcome has been completely positive. I’ll be incorporating a few drinks with some upcoming travel plans and birthday parties but reducing my intake in 2017 is a goal along with completing 2 full marathons.
Special Shout Out to my sister, Julie! It’s her birthday today. Our genes are pretty fantastic as you seem to be aging younger each year! I hope you have the best birthday yet. Love you!
See you next week after Julien’s birthday getaway to Barcelona, Spain!
As always much love, health and adventure to you all!
